In Memoriam: Roger Kronk

Our agency’s philosophy and mission stem from Roger Kronk (1937-2010). Roger believed strongly in providing outstanding customer service and treating everyone with respect and dignity. We carry his values and philosophy on today and rise to the occasion to take care of our customers in a way that would make Roger proud.


Rod Kronk

Owner/ Agent

Rod grew up in the Insurance and Farming Industry. He is a graduate of Madison-Plains High School and Bowling Green State University, where he graduated Cum Laude in Insurance/Finance. Following graduation, Rod worked at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade. He joined his father’s insurance agency in 1994. Rod has been active in the Madison County community. He has coached youth soccer and baseball, and has served on Boards of the London Public Library, London Area Baseball Council, Madison Health and his church.

Shari Henry, C.I.C., C.I.S.R.

Office Manager/ Agent, specializing in Life

Shari is a lifelong resident of Madison County and a graduate of Madison-Plains High School. She is married with two children who are graduates of Madison-Plains and now attending college. Shari has been with the agency since 2000 and is available to help with Life Insurance, in addition to Property and Casualty.

Ashley grew up in Mt. Sterling and is a graduate of Madison-Plains and MVNU.  She now lives in South Charleston with her husband and two children.  Ashley has been with the agency since 2016 and is able to help with your Property & Casualty needs.

Brittany Zerkle, C.I.S.R.

Brittany obtained her insurance license in 2006 and specializes in Property & Casualty lines.  She has been a Madison County resident for most of her life and resides here with her husband and their three children. Brittany is a graduate of Madison Plains High School and Cedarville University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and practicing photography

Grant Zerkle

Licensed Agent, specializing in Farm, Crop & Hail

Grant grew up on a family farm in southern Madison County. He is a graduate of Madison-Plains High School and Cedarville University. Grant is a licensed auctioneer selling personal property, farm equipment and farm acreage. Grant joined the agency in 2022 and is available to help with Farm, Crop, Property and Casualty coverage.

Bill Barker – Retired

Bill  served as a licensed insurance agent from 1999 to 2020 and worked primarily with farm, crop and hail coverage. Bill now enjoys his retirement finding time to fish and golf. We’re happy to pass on messages to him.

Don Scaggs – Retired

Don is now retired but was partner in the agency with Roger, and then Rod for over 40 years.  We miss having Don around, but he stays it touch.  We’re happy to pass on messages to him.
